The CCP is awarded when a person reaches the Expert/Mastery Level on each of three ICCP examinations.  The Expert/Mastery level is achieved by reaching a 70% or higher score on each examination.  The scores are NOT averaged across examinations so you must achieve this score on each individual examination.

All Professionals are required to take the Information Systems Core examination which covers Technology, Software and Systems Development processes.  This is the base knowledge that all graduating students from 4 year universities require to graduate from their programs.

Then two additional "Specialty" examinations are chosen by the applicant based on two/three factors: 1. their educational background, 2. their work experience and 3. their long term career plans or the immediate plans by their organization.

Explore the examinations section with your supervisor to determine which examinations suit your needs/interests/career goals.
